Breakfast today was at Hanover Gourmet Deli. I had a chocolate chip muffin and a cranberry muffin. They were both decent, but the cranberry was better. Nice and tart.
We ate lunch at Europa Market. I had a small cheese pizza, "Classico", and a bit of double chocolate yogurt loaf. The pizza was okay, the bread was great. It was a bit strange because they had all of the hot food premade cold, and they just tossed it into a oven/toaster/whatever for a minute when you ordered it.
After class we jumped on the Staten Island Ferry. It's currently free and was a nice little side trip. I got one sort of decent picture of The Statue of Liberty*.
For dinner, I lucked out in finding Herban Kitchen on the internet. A health food place with vegetarian dishes as well as meat. All organic, though. That was acceptable to everyone. Decent food. I had the pasta rustico which was a little like baked ziti in a skillet. Decent. I finished with some pumpkin cheesecake. Very ery good. Nice and creamy and covered with slightly tart cherries in sauce. Good stuff. I actually thought about Joey and his NYC cheesecake experience.
After that they came back to the hotel for drinks, and I went to bed.
