Well, today I didn't feel well physically. Bleh.
Last night Kimberly and I went out to eat with Joey, then we watched The X-Files movie. I don't think any of us had watched it since it was in the theater. After the end of the season sunday it was sort of a breath of fresh air, but it still doesn't seem to live up to the whole movie billing. It was really just an extra long episode that fit between two seasons. Oh well.
I was very disappointed with this past season of The X-Files. It was just very weak. I personally think it should have just died at the end of season 6, when Mulder had gone insane and Scully had found the UFO in the ocean which proved that Mulder was right all along. It would have been a kind of sad poetry. This baby and kissing stuff just ruined it for me. I think my biggest problem was that every major plot thread in season 8 was made up in season 8. It lacked the feeling of continuity that the other seasons had. It's like Chris Carter never expected the ride to last this long and he just had to make stuff up off the top of his head.
At least The Lone Gunmen was canceled.
I actually don't watch much TV. Aside from The Simpsons and The X-Files, I don't really watch any TV. And I don't plan to watch The X-Files next season. That's just as well, I guess.
